Government Medical College makes special arrangements to treat shelling victims

Jammu (Jammu & Kashmir), Jun 04 (ANI): Frequent shelling and ceasefire violations from Pakistan’s side have resulted in a number of deaths and casualties on the Indian side of the border. To tackle unforeseen casualties from these situations special arrangements for ceasefire violation patients have been made at the Government Medical College (GMC) in Jammu. GMC has treated more than 90 victims of ceasefire violations by Pakistan in Jammu region of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K). Special standard operating procedure (SOP) has been made to handle the border firing patients. The hospital is alerted as soon as the news of firing on borders breaks out. Such patients are provided free medical treatment and even food.
