Hapur (Uttar Pradesh), Jun 22 (ANI): Family of Kasim, who was allegedly beaten to death over cow-slaughter, said that his killing was under conspiracy and demanded government to give them justice. One of his relatives said, “Some men called him and offered to provide him cattle. They later hit him by bike. This was a conspiracy against him. After the incident fight broke out between them in which their men who were hiding there only also joined them. The men who did this are from BJP-RSS. Such a big incident took place and none from the government side came to see us.” Asking for justice, his daughter said, “We want that the accused should be hanged and we get justice from government.” On a related note, police have furnished an apology in the case. For the unversed, a man in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur was allegedly beaten to death over cow-slaughter and a video of the incident got viral which showed him being dragged by policemen.
