Hyderabad, Jun 01 (ANI): Hyderabad Police adopted a slum with around 72 history-sheeters, to help them overcome their shoddy image in the society. The police plans to give them assistance in getting education, health and physiological assessment. The adopted Mangar Basti is infamous for housing several thieves and robbers. The police have adopted around 30 families and police personnel will closely mentor their development. “In that area people are branded as criminals as they are illiterates and having no employment and been ignored by the society”, said B Sumati, DCP, North Zone, Hyderabad.
