Kishore Kumar was blocked from radio as he refused to sing for Congress: PM Modi

Mumbai, Jun 26 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organised a programme and remembered the ‘emergency’ in Mumbai on Tuesday. Emergency was imposed by then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and the day is recognised as black day. While addressing BJP members, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Congress asked Kishore Kumar to sing a song for them but he refused and that is why his songs were not allowed to be broadcast or played on the radio.
