No farmers are agitating, Congress is provoking farmers: MP Agriculture Minister

Khargone (Madhya Pradesh), Jun 02 (ANI): Denying any protest by farmers in the state, Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Minister Balkrishna Patidar said that there is no agitation by farmers and it is Congress which is trying to boil the situation. He said, “Its 2nd June today, where is the strike happening? No farmers are participating in the strike. Nothing happened yesterday and there was no farmers’ agitation as it is not farmers who are doing this but the Congress. Rahul Gandhi is coming to Mandsaur to provoke agitation but when there is no situation then what will he do. I have seen that farmers are happy and they are benefitting from the schemes of the government. They are also confident that their problems will be solved by the BJP.” Farmers across the country have taken to a 10-day long protest started from June 1 to June 10. The Rashtriya Kisan Mazdoor Mahasangh has called for a ‘Bharat Bandh’ on June 10.
