Srinagar (J&K), Jun 30 (ANI): A workshop on importance of statistics was conducted in Srinagar with an aim to promote Statistics as a subject and make students of the valley aware about its benefits. The workshop saw participation by the Kashmiri youth in large numbers who were being given a detailed explanation about the subject. The workshop was held at Kashmir University and was organized by National Sample Survey Office (NSSO) in collaboration with Department of Statistics of University of Kashmir. It was to mark National Statistics Day which falls on June 29. The initiative was appreciated by the students of the Valley.
