Plastic ban is for betterment of the state: Ramdas Kadam

Mumbai, Jun 23 (ANI): Maharashtra Environment Minister Ramdas Kadam hailed the decision of the government to ban use of plastic in the state. The government has also imposed a fine of Rs 5000 on use of plastic. Ramdas Kadam said, “It is good that plastic is getting banned in the state. Maharashtra has become the 18th state to ban plastic. Plastic is a problem for everyone. This decision has been taken for the betterment of the state.” He added, “When plastic burns, the gas released is very cancerous and it is a danger to our health. The decision has been taken in the benefit of the country.”
