New Delhi, Jun 27 (ANI): While addressing the beneficiaries of Centre’s Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said that under Jan-Dhan Se Jan Suraksha Yojana the subscribers have increased to 10 times more. “Through accident cover Bima facility is being provided. Under Jan Suraksha schemes, two Bima and one pension yojana has been started and it is because of this that where in 2014 there were less than 5 lakhs subscribers of Bima Yojana, today in 2018 under Jan Suraksha Yojana the numbers have increased to 10 times more,” PM Modi said. He added, “Under Jan Suraksha the schemes are provided for different purposes and are available on lesser premium.”
