New Delhi, Jun 02 (ANI): President Ram Nath Kovind interacted with the all-women crew of INSV Tarini at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on June 1. The crew successfully completed the circumnavigation of the globe on a sailboat on May 21 in Goa. Under the leadership of Lt Commander Vertika Joshi, INSV Tarini sailed over 20,000 nautical miles. It visited five counties, sailed across four continents, three oceans, passed south of three capes and crossed the equator twice. The expedition was flagged on September 10, 2017.
