Shillong (Meghalaya), Jun 04 (ANI): Around 400 protestors pelted stones at the F67 camp of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) near Mawlai Bridge in Shillong last night. This attack has occurred in the wake of the curfew imposed following a fight between a woman and a bus conductor in Shillong. Prakash D, Inspector General (IG), CRPF said, “The crowd was made to flee within 1-2 hours. Measures have been taken to uphold law and order. 2-3 jawans were injured, however, they were immediately treated and are presently out of danger.” He also requested the public to resolve the issue through talks and not to take law into their own hands. He warned that strict action will be taken against those who violate law.
