Srinagar (J&K), Jun 26 (ANI): Kashmir Editors Guild (KEG) held a protest against the Shujaat Bukhari murder case in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar on Tuesday. Bukhari, a senior journalist and editor of ‘Rising Kashmir’, was shot dead in Srinagar’s Press Colony area on June 14. Taking suo motu cognizance of a media report seeking swift probe into Bukhari’s killing, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) asked the state government to provide details of the attacks made on the media persons during last two years. It also asked the status of relief or rehabilitation provided to the victims and their families.
