TDP MP Ramesh enters 4th day of indefinite hunger strike

Kadapa (Andhra Pradesh), Jun 23 (ANI): Telugu Desam Party’s (TDP) MP Ramesh entered fourth day of his indefinite hunger strike on Saturday. He has been on strike since Wednesday at Kadapa district’s Zila Parishad office. Ramesh has been demanding the Centre to set up an integrated steel plant in Kadapa, as promised in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014, also known as the Telangana Act. He said, “There is tremendous response in public and everyday this will increase. Public from all districts are coming. People from all sections of society are giving me support. Our MPs will go to Delhi to put pressure on them. We are fighting for future. For our children it is important to get jobs in steel plant.”
