Jalpaiguri (West Bengal), Jun 18 (ANI): Range Officer of Baikunthapur Forest, Sanjoy Dutta had a narrow escape after a python almost strangled him in West Bengal’s Jalpaiguri. In the video, Dutta can be seen with the 18-feet python that he rescued from the village. Huge crowd of locals had gathered around him and while they were trying to click selfie with the python, it tried to strangle Dutta. The officer managed to escape.
