Rishikesh (Uttarakhand), Jun 18 (ANI): Wreath laying ceremony of Sepoy Bikas Gurung was held in Uttarakhand’s Rishikesh on Monday. Gurung lost his life during a ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir’s Nowshera on Saturday. Slain soldier got brutally injured in Pakistani firing, after which he was admitted to the hospital, but he succumbed to the injuries. Yesterday, mortal remains of Sepoy Bikas Gurung arrived in his hometown. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat also paid tribute to the jawan.
