Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Jul 22 (ANI): 17 people are said to have been injured after the scaffolding of an under-construction building collapsed in Chennai on Saturday night. The incident took place in Chennai’s Kandanchavadi area. Eight ambulances along with three fire tenders rushed the spot. National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams also rushed to the spot. Five of the injured suffered severe head injuries and were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. Rescue operations are underway.
