Dumka (Jharkhand), Jul 29 (ANI): At least two Naxals were gunned down by the security forces in Jharkhand’s Dumka district on Sunday. The encounter took place between the Naxals and the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel here in forests of Gopikander. One self-loading rifle, high-explosive grenades were among other arms and ammunition recovered from their possession. On July 11, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan was killed in an encounter with Naxals in the jungles of East Singhbhum district of the state.
