Surat (Gujarat), Jul 26 (ANI): A 5.7-feet-long crocodile weighing 19 kg was rescued by NGO ‘Prayas’ volunteers from a drain near Surat’s Valak village. The crocodile was handed over to the forest department for safe rehabilitation. It took the rescuers almost five hours to safely capture the crocodile. One volunteer went down in one of the tanks and ushered the crocodile back to the tank where ropes and wire noose was placed and then they pulled him out.
