New Delhi, Jul 30 (ANI): Union Minister of State (I/C) for Development of North Eastern Region Jitendra Singh on Monday reacted on National Register of Citizens (NRC) of Assam issue. He said that the entire process was carried out under Supreme Court’s direction and the draft is not final people can still file their claims. Singh backfired on Congress party by saying that it is trying to politicise the issue. Assam on Monday released the final draft of NRC. Nearly seven months after around 1.9 crore citizens were cleared in the first citizenship draft list. According to the state officials nobody will be deported on the basis of second draft and people will be given opportunity to put forth their claims.
