Guwahati (Assam), Jul 30 (ANI): While addressing a press conference, Satyendra Garg, Joint Secretary (North East) said, “Based on this draft there is no question of any reference to Foreigners Tribunal or any person being taken to the detention centre”. Around 2.9 crore people are eligible to be included in the National Register of Citizens (NRC). Assam’s NRC draft was released earlier this morning amid tight security.
