London (United Kingdom), Jul 09 (ANI): A group of alleged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) UK chapter members attempted to break in Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s residence in London on Sunday. A clash broke out between Nawaz Sharif’s Pakistan Muslim League (N) party members and agitated PTI protestors after the incident. Enraged PTI members also tried to barge in his residence and broke down the doors of Sharif’s residence. The British Metropolitan Police arrived at the scene and immediately began a search operation of the vehicles stationed near the Avenfield House. The police said that demonstrators possessed knives and further investigation is underway. PML-N UK has accused protesters belonged to a rival political party. PTI-UK clarified that the youth were Pakistanis who were protesting against Sharif was not workers of the party.
