Barmer (Rajasthan), Jul 25 (ANI): A Dalit man was beaten to death by a group of men on Tuesday in Rajasthan’s Barmer allegedly over an affair with a Muslim woman. Confirming the love affair angle linked to the brutal murder, Barmer Deputy Superintendent of Police Surinder Kumar said, “The victim succumbed to severe injuries. Two people have been arrested in connection with the incident. Further investigation is underway.” The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Khetaram. The deceased’s family rented a land from a Muslim family in Barmer and was involved in brick-manufacturing business.
