Shillong (Meghalaya), Jul 05 (ANI): Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Development of North Eastern Region and PMO Jitendra Singh attended the last day of Behdeinkhlam festival in Shillong’s Jowai. The most popular festival of Jaintia tribe is celebrated annually in Jowai, about 64 km away from Shillong for good health, property and harvest. Jitendra Singh became the first Union Minister to attend the festival.
