Leh (J&K), Jul 24 (ANI): In a first of its kind, a three day Ladakh Mega Youth Cultural Festival was organised in Leh last week. The festival organised by Ladakh Buddhist Association Youth Wing and Ladakh Students Educational and Environmental Action forum, witnessed the participation of more than three hundred youths. The festival was organised with the aim to promote the rich culture of Ladakh among the young generation and provide a platform for them to showcase their talent. Youths participated with all their fervour, and performed cultural dance and songs of Ladakh. Vendors selling items from handicrafts to clothes to jewellery items installed their shops in the area, while tanks, weapons and artilleries were also kept on display by the Indian Army. “The festival we organised this time, it is just the beginning and we will organise Ladakh Mega Youth Festival every year,” said an enthusiastic organiser.
