Raipur/ Bijapur (Chhattisgarh), Jul 10 (ANI): Heavy downpour lashed parts of Chhattisgarh state today. Rain splashed in capital city of Chhattisgarh, brought daily life to a standstill as the water clogged the roads. The water level on roads rose to knee length levels, making it difficult for the locals to abide by the regular chores. The heavy showers also washed down Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh where fields were drenched in high waters and commuting through crooked roads became difficult.
