IAF’s MiG-21 aircraft crashes in Kangra, pilot dies

Kangra (Himachal Pradesh), Jul 18 (ANI); An Indian Air Force’s MiG-21 fighter aircraft crashed in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra on Wednesday. The pilot of the fighter aircraft died in the crash. The aircraft took-off from Pathankot air base and crashed at Patta Jattiyan in Jawali subdivision of Kangra. “The MiG-21 took off from Punjab’s Pathankot and later lost contact with its system. Police present on the spot”, said Kangra SP Santosh Patial. “Fire has been doused but debris are scattered everywhere”, he added.
