India and Uganda have centuries-old relationship: PM Modi

Kampala (Uganda), Jul 25 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed the Indian community in Uganda’s Kampala. He said that both countries have centuries-old relationship. “The relationship of India and Uganda is not of today, but of many centuries. We share a past of intense labour and our struggles against exploitation,” said PM Modi. PM Modi was accompanied by President of the Republic of Uganda Yoweri K Museveni. The Prime Minister is on a three-nation tour to the African countries including Rwanda, Uganda and South Africa.
