Dras (Jammu & Kashmir), Jul 25 (ANI): Ahead of Kargil Vijay Diwas, the Indian Army invited families of 1999 Kargil War martyrs to remember the sacrifice of the Kargil war heroes. Some of the family members and wives of the martyrs shared their experiences of the loss they had to bear after the war. They also felt proud of their family members who gave their lives for the nation. One of the family members said, “My father was martyred in the Kargil War in 1999. I am feeling very proud today to come in honour of my father. I have a dream of becoming like my father.” Another one added, “I have no words to describe. My husband died when I was very young. I feel very proud for him. I pay my tribute for all the martyrs. We used to write letters to him every day.”
