Bengaluru, Jul 05 (ANI): Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy presented government’s first state budget in Karnataka Assembly on Thursday. Karnataka CM said that he has taken a challenge to give a surplus budget. “It is a new experience for me as a finance minister. I have taken up this as a challenge to give a surplus budget”, said CM Kumaraswamy. I have decided to waive all defaulted crop loans of farmers up to 31 Dec 2017 in the first stage, CM Kumaraswamy said while presenting the state budget. He also decided to limit the loan amount to Rs 2 lakh keeping in mind crop loan waiver scheme.
