Srinagar (J-K), Jul 28 (ANI): In an effort to save the world famous Dal Lake from further deterioration, citizens of Kashmir on Saturday came together to start cleaning the lake under “Save Dal Campaign”. As the Dal Lake struggles with increasing menace of plastic pollution, the people residing nearby took the onus upon themselves to start a cleaning drive and also make other people aware about the need to preserve the lake. A resident of Dal said, “We will go to any extent to clean the Dal Lake, and make people aware of how we will do it.” He added, “We do not need to depend on the government to clean the lake, we ourselves need to take the initiative.”
