Naxals vandalize buses, tribals in great fear

Bijapur (Chhattisgarh), July 7 (ANI): Naxals, who otherwise project themselves as the protectors of tribals have fixated on obstructing the developmental initiatives being undertaken to connect their hinterlands to mainstream towns. Few days back these left-winged radicals burnt the passenger bus travelling between Timmapur and Basaguda village of Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, just to instill a sense of fear among tribal’s and put a full-stop to the region’s development. The number of passenger buses in the region are already few and with such acts, Naxalites are compounding the commuting woes of tribals. With such inhuman acts,Naxals, whose influence had shrunken to near zero, owing to sustained efforts of security forces are making a desperate last-ditch effort to revive their movement.
