Need to reduce gender gap to achieve new India: Vice President Venkaiah Naidu

New Delhi, Jul 31 (ANI): Vice President Venkaiah Naidu said that there is a need to focus more sharply on women’s literacy and gender gaps to achieve inclusive new India. “We are envisioning an inclusive new India. To achieve this, we have to recognize that there is a persisting gender gap of 16.3%. Clearly, we have to focus much more sharply on women’s literacy and gender gaps in literacy and education”, said Vice President Naidu during an event in New Delhi.
