NSUI holds protest over law & order situation in Bihar

Patna (Bihar), Jul 30 (ANI): National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) members took out protest near Raj Bhavan in Patna on Monday over several issues. Protestors were demanding the resignation of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. One of the major issues raised by NSUI protestors was the recent rape case of 34 girls at state-run shelter home in Muzaffarpur that came to light after Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) released reports based on conversations with several girls at the home which was meant to be their shelter. Police later baton-charged protestors to disperse the crowd.
