Ranchi (Jharkhand), Jul 05 (ANI): Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and other opposition parties in Jharkhand called for bandh in the state against amendments in Land Acquisition Act 2013 by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government. The bill has done away with clause of impact assessment of government sponsored development projects. Security was beefed up in capital Ranchi on Thursday. Shops and schools remained closed during the strike. The amendment was passed in Jharkhand Assembly in August 2017.
