People who have not provided proof should not be thrown out: Mayawati on NRC draft

New Delhi, Jul 31 (ANI): On the second & final draft of National Resgister of Citizens (NRC), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Tuesday said, “People who have not been able to provide proof should not be thrown out.” Mayawati said, “Citizenships of 40 lakh religious & linguistic minorities have almost been seized in NRC draft in BJP-ruled Assam. If people living for a long time in Assam haven’t been able to provide proof about their citizenship, it doesn’t mean they should be thrown out of the country.”
