Request Pakistan to probe honestly: MEA on manhandling of Gulab Singh

New Delhi, Jul 12 (ANI): Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar on Thursday condemned the manhandling incident of first Sikh police officer by the officials of the Pakistan Evacuee Trust Property Board. Kumar requested Pakistan authority to probe the issue with honestly and comply with their international obligation to protect religious minorities. The MEA Spokesperson added that this isn’t the first time that religious minority in Pakistan has been misbehaved. Traffic Police officer Gulab Singh had alleged that he was manhandled while he and his family were being evicted from their house in Dera Chahal village by officials of the Pakistan Evacuee Trust Property Board (PETPB).
