Services will resume once water level becomes fit for operations: CPRO Western Railways

Mumbai, Jul 10 (ANI): As Mumbai is dealing with heavy rains, the Western Railways has suspended its operations since morning. Ravinder Bhakar, CPRO, Western Railways said that services have been suspended between the Virar-Nala Sopara stretch since 6 in the morning. He also informed that level of water going up is also a cause of concern. He said, “We had to terminate some long distance trains in Nala Sopara. However, suburban services are running normally with 5-10 min delay between Churchgate to Vasai road. We are also making arrangements for breakfast, foods and drinks for standard passengers. We are also arranging for buses wherever possible. We will resume services as soon the water level would be fit for operations.”
