This week’s episode focuses on, Pakistan’s general elections which are just round the corner and various political parties have been campaigning extensively to emerge victor in the same, people like Hafiz Saeed who have got state patronage, are also on campaign trail on anti- India agenda; Many across Pakistan who believe the elections are designed by the army and intelligence agencies carried out protests in Washington DC.; India hosted the 10th Delhi Dialogue, the premier annual event held in capital to discuss politico-security, the economic and socio-cultural engagement between India and the ASEAN countries; US army general John Nicholson visits Afghanistan to review the security situation in the country and reiterates US position for the peace talks. Nepalese Foreign Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali confirms his country’s preparation in order to host the BIMSTEC members later this month for annual summit in Kathmandu; Thousands throng to Puri in Indian state of Odisha to attend the annual chariot festival.
