New Delhi, Jul 11 (ANI): In an inhumane incident more than 15 kindergarten students were kept confined in the basement of Rabea Girls’ Public School in the national capital. Parents had alleged that the girls were kept in the basement without electricity and any facility. They also alleged that even after paying the fee four and six months in advance the children were kept in confinement. One of the parents said, “The girls were kept in a very adverse situation where they were given no water. Even the electricity was not working. They were kept here in such situation for several hours. This is happening when their parents had already paid the fee for six months in advance.” Another one added, “My daughter was kept in the basement on the grounds that the fee was not paid when instead we had paid the fees for four months. She did not even have lunch.” Farah Diba, Head Mistress of the school was informed of the incident. However, she denied any such allegations of the parents. She said, “Basement is where the children play, there were 2 teachers watching them, they usually sit on the ground and the fan had gone for repair that day. The allegations are wrong. The children even had their lunch.”
