Thai cave rescue: 6 members rescued, operation resumed

New Delhi, Jul 09 (ANI): In the latest development in the Thailand cave rescue, as many as six members were rescued on Sunday where they were trapped for more than two weeks. The team of divers resumed the mission today to rescue the remaining boys and their soccer coach. A team of 12 Thai footballers and their coach became stranded when they went exploring in the Tham Luang cave after a practice game. Monsoon flooding blocked off their escape and prevented rescuers from finding them for more than a week. The rescued boys were taken to a hospital for further treatment. The rescue team replenished the supply of oxygen tanks along the route so that the stranded people won’t suffocate. They have also sent food and medical help into the caves for the stranded boys.
