Thai cave rescue: Thai authorities release first visuals of rescued boys in hospital

Chiang Rai (Thailand), Jul 11 (ANI): Visuals of the rescued team of 12 young Thai footballers and their coach being treated in Chiang Rai Prachanukroh hospital situated in Chiang Rai province emerged on Wednesday. The visuals released by the Thai authorities showed the boys in an isolated ward wearing surgical masks and responding happily to the camera. Parents of the rescued were also seen waving at their children through a glass window. All 12 boys and the coach have been rescued from Thailand cave on Tuesday. The three-day rescue saw four boys emerging on Sunday, another four on Monday, and the final four boys along with their coach on Tuesday. They were trapped for more than two weeks in Tham Luang cave in Chiang Rai. Monsoon flooding blocked off their escape and prevented rescuers from finding them for more than a week. The rescued boys are being held at the hospital facility for further treatment.
