TMC issue whips ahead of no-confidence motion debate

New Delhi, Jul 18 (ANI): Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Dinesh Trivedi spoke on the impending discussion on no confidence motion in Parliament on Wednesday. Speaking after the first day of the 15-day long monsoon session, Trivedi said, “No confidence motion is a very important aspect of Parliament. We had requested the speaker and government to change the date, with folded hands. We protested but couldn’t convince them. So, all 34 MPs have been asked to come to Delhi in interest of the parliament. A whip also will be issued.” The reason behind the absence of TMC MPs is that, July 21 is observed it as a martyr’s day for 14 youth TMC workers who were shot dead. All 34 MPs of TMC are hence busy with the upcoming function.
