Sukma (Chhattisgarh), July 14: Exasperated by the fading traction and influence in their own backyard, Naxals have unleashed mayhem on poor tribals of Chhattisgarh. In a recent act of cowardice, they killed an innocent contractor of Sukma district on mere suspicion of him being anti-Naxal. This wasn’t an isolated incident of Naxal barbarity as such incidents have spiked sharply in recent times owing to disenchanted tribals rebuffing violent left-radicalism in order to become a part of the mainstream. These pseudo ideologists who have maintained to be protectors of tribal rights, however, have put an utterly hypocritical show when it came to action. However, bygone is the time and era when the tribal would get petrified by Naxals’ presence in their vicinity. They are not only condemning the horrific acts but have resolved to resist them in future. Most of the tribals believe that it is high time they confront these radicals morally, ideologically and through all other possible means.
