Latehar (Jharkhand), July 7 (ANI): At least seven security personnel were killed while 10 others sustained grievous injuries in a Naxal ambush at Burha Pahar region in Latehar district of Jharkhand. The recent ambush on security personnel drew condemnation from locals residing in these Naxal-infested areas. Proclaiming themselves protectors of tribal rights, Naxalites are the real hindrance to the development in the region. To tackle the menace of Naxalism, the center has beefed up the security in the region and is making all-out efforts in bringing disillusioned youth to the mainstream.
