UP Govt plans dress code for madrasa students

Lucknow (UP), Jul 03 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Minority Welfare Minister Mohsin Raza said that state’s aim is to bring madrasas at par with other educational institutions. He added that Uttar Pradesh government will provide uniform to madrasas’ students which make it more formal. “Till now, students in madrasas have been wearing ‘kurta-payjama’. A dress code will make it more formal,” he said.
