New Delhi, Jul 31 (ANI): Chief Minister of West Bengal (WB), Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday said, “Whoever came from Bangladesh to India till March 1971 is Indian citizen.” Mamata was addressing ‘Love For Neighbour’ event at the Constitution Club in New Delhi. She said, “Only to win polls people can’t be victimised. Don’t you think people whose name isn’t in list will lose a part of their identity?” She added, “Please understand India-Pakistan-Bangladesh were one before partition. Whoever came from Bangladesh to India till March 1971 is Indian citizen.”
