New Delhi, Jul 30 (ANI): Reacting on the National Register of Citizens (NRC) Assam draft, Assam Congress Chief Ripun Bora said, “40 lakh names ineligible is a very high figure and very surprising. There are a lot of irregularities in the report. We will raise this issue with the government and in the Parliament. Political motive of BJP is also behind this”. Around 2.9 crore people are eligible to be included in the NRC. Assam’s NRC draft was released earlier this morning.
