Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Jul 28 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday was in Lucknow to attend the third anniversary of schemes like ‘Amrut’, Smart Cities Mission and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). At the event he talked about solid waste management being a big challenge in implementation of development schemes especially disposable plastic for which alternatives are needed. He said, “Plastic waste was a challenge in implementing various schemes in the state. We have banned 15 micron of plastic carry bags from 15th July and we are working towards our motive to completely ban disposable plastic from 2nd October of this year and find better alternatives for it.”
