1100 m long tricolour flag unveiled on 72nd I-Day in Surat

Surat (Gujarat), Aug 15 (ANI): On the occasion of India’s 72nd Independence Day, thousands of people rallied on the streets of Gujarat’s Surat, carrying 1100-metre long tricolour flag on Wednesday. During the 5 km rally, people from various religions came together to give out a message that there is no other religion greater than the religion of nationalism. The huge National Flag was made with 5000 metre cloth. It took 12 days for 200 people to make this 1100-metre long flag. The dyes used in making the flag were imported from Germany.
