New Delhi, Aug 18 (ANI): Sanjay Kumar, Director General of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) informed that 170 people have been rescued and 7000 others have been evacuated to safer places due to the ongoing flood situation in Kerala. He said, “NDRF teams have been sent for undertaking relief and rescue operations. 58 teams of NDRF are deployed in eight affected districts. We have rescued 170 people and evacuated 7000 others to safer places. Rescue and relief works are underway.” The death toll has touched 324 in flood-hit Kerala.
