Chennai (TN), Aug 08 (ANI): At least two people were killed and 33 others got severely injured in a stampede outside Chennai’s Rajaji Hall on Wednesday. The incident took place when thousands of Kalaignar supporters had gathered at Rajaji Hall to get a glimpse of him. The state police resorted to lathicharge to control the crowd. Karunanidhi breathed his last on August 07 at Chennai’s Kauvery Hospital. His funeral will be held with full state honours today.
